Hey everyone! It's Saturday- and unless you're new around here- you should know the drill. It's time for another Saturday Snapshot*! Last week, I shared the last of my pictures about my trip to Chile with you, and so I'm back with pictures about a trip to Amazon Rainforest that we took in 2007. You guessed it! It's a mini-series here on my blog. Because this trip was so long ago, I didn't have that many pictures to choose from. I think this will be the shortest series on my blog yet- only two posts!

These pictures were all taken by my dad, and are all about wildlife that we encountered in the rain forest. These aren't even half of the animals we saw. Apart from these we saw a jaguar, went to a butterfly farm, had a scary encounter with a tarantula and met some excited spider monkeys.

Some of the adults draped this big creature around their neck. Twenty adults to be exact! |

I love this bird's striking feathers! |
Gorgeous shots! The birds have such colorful feathers. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThey do, don't they? It's a shame most of them are probably endangered now!
DeleteThanks for visiting, Laurel-Rain!
What a fantastic trip that must have been! Your dad did a great job of capturing the wildlife on film. I especially love the vivid colors of the birds. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.
Thanks- I think we have video recordings of the trip stashed away somewhere, but I couldn't find them, so I shared just the pictures.
DeleteThanks for stopping by Sandra.
